Our client is a world-renowned consultancy delivering innovative engineering and technology solutions across critical national infrastructure sectors. With a rapidly growing presence in aerospace, defence, and security, they work with public and private sector clients to solve complex engineering challenges. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Safety Consultant to join their Aerospace, Defence, and Security division.

THE SAFETY CONSULTANT ROLE:
As a Safety Consultant, you'll work on leading-edge aviation and defence safety projects, providing expert guidance on airworthiness, certification, and safety management. You'll play a key role in delivering safety assessments, managing risk, and assuring the safety of complex systems. Working with multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to safety reports, technical strategies, and assurance activities across exciting UK-wide programmes.
SAFETY CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Experience in safety-critical systems and defence sector projects
- Understanding of ASPIRE, Air Engineer's Toolkit, and military aviation safety processes
- Expertise in tools such as Air System Loss Models, BowTies, or GSN/CAES
- Skilled in techniques like FHA, FTA, ETA, FMECA, or CBA
- Familiarity with standards such as Def Stan 00-056
- Strong communication and report writing abilities
- Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline; Chartered or working towards chartership
- Ability to build relationships with clients and support business development
