p strong SUPPLY OFFICER /strong /p p br /p ul li Full time on-site in Belfast /li li 12-month contract /li li £29ph via Umbrella /li li 36 hour week, with premium overtime rates for any overtime /li li BPSS clearance required prior to starting /li /ul p br /p p strong WHAT WILL THE SUPPLY OFFICER BE DOING? /strong /p p br /p p The role of the Supply Chain Coordinator involves managing a portfolio of suppliers acting as the main on-site liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless material flow, performance management, and supplier recovery where needed. This role plays a vital part in improving operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement, and shaping the future of the supply chain through digitalisation and transformation initiatives. /p p br /p p strong WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING /strong /p p br /p ul li Managing a portfolio of suppliers daily using existing and emerging digital tools. /li li Anticipating risks, manage demand and forecasts, and drive proactive mitigation actions. /li li Leading and driving supplier recoveries, ensuring on-time and in-full delivery performance. /li li Challenging supplier performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented. /li li Acting as the first point of contact for supply chain queries from operations. /li li Coordinating supplier working parties and manage order books, including maintaining MRP Master Data. /li li Using data management tools to analyse performance and make informed decisions. /li li Optimising stock levels and ordering strategies for procured goods. /li li Partnering with Supply Chain Quality Managers and Commercial Buyers to deliver an integrated procurement approach. /li li Contributing to supply chain transformation projects, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement. /li /ul p br /p p strong WE NEED THE SUPPLY OFFICER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING… /strong /p p br /p ul li Solid experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing Engineering /li li Strong understanding of MRP and SAP within a manufacturing or engineering environment. /li li Proven supplier-facing experience, including performance management and recovery activities. /li li Experience with digital tools and automation within a supply chain context. /li li A good understanding of LEAN and project management principles. /li li Google Suite experience desirable /li /ul p br /p p strong TO BE CONSIDERED…. /strong /p p br /p p Please either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to ryan.baker@searchability.com.
