THE ROLE
A well-established UK technology solutions business is hiring a Software Engineer to join its in-house IT team. You'll design, build and support the C# and .NET applications, APIs and integrations that run both internal operations and customer-facing services. It's a hands-on role with variety and real ownership, at a company that is investing heavily in its systems and growth.

THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE
Design, develop, test and maintain applications and services using C# and .NET
Build and support RESTful APIs and integrations between business applications and third-party platforms
Write clean, documented, secure code in line with agreed standards
Work across the full SDLC, from requirements and design through to deployment and support
Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues and integration failures, including root cause analysis
Build and maintain automated unit and integration tests
Use source control, peer review and CI/CD to deliver controlled, repeatable releases
Work with stakeholders, customers and suppliers to turn business requirements into practical solutions
Support upgrades, optimisation and ongoing maintenance of key systems
