THE FIRE SERVICE ENGINEER ROLE:
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and commissioning fire detection and suppression systems across client sites. The role involves responding to emergency callouts, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, and ensuring all systems meet current British Standards. You'll also build strong relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and safety.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven experience within the fire protection or fire systems industry
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems such as Gent, Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Kentec or Advanced
- Experience in servicing, fault finding, and commissioning fire systems
- Ability to work independently and manage workload in a field-based role
- Understanding of British Standards relating to fire systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Background in defence or engineering environments is advantageous (ex-forces candidates encouraged)
