THE SENIOR AI ENGINEER ROLE:
You'll be responsible for designing, developing and optimising production-grade AI solutions, with a focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models and agentic workflows.
Working alongside AI Platform Engineers and wider technical teams, you'll develop RAG pipelines, improve retrieval strategies, implement model fine-tuning techniques and establish evaluation frameworks to ensure AI solutions are accurate, scalable and reliable.
You'll also contribute to technical decisions, code reviews and mentoring other engineers.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong Python programming skills
- Commercial experience with Generative AI, LLMs and RAG
- Experience building agentic AI systems and workflows
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning and model optimisation
- Experience developing and deploying production-grade AI/ML solutions
- Understanding of AI evaluation and experimentation techniques
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and technical leadership experience
- Azure AI Foundry, Graph-RAG or Microsoft Agent Framework experience advantageous
