About The Client
We're working with a leading UK energy organisation providing off-grid energy solutions to homes, businesses and commercial customers across the country.
They're looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join their Customer Engineering team, covering customer sites across East Anglia and surrounding areas.
This is a field-based position offering plenty of variety, combining installation and maintenance work with customer service and emergency response.

The Gas Engineer Role
You'll be responsible for delivering engineering services across a largely rural customer base, including:
- Installing and maintaining bulk gas tanks and associated assets
- Carrying out servicing and maintenance at customer sites
- Travelling throughout your allocated region using a company vehicle
- Providing a high standard of customer service
- Following relevant Health & Safety legislation and industry procedures
- Supporting emergency gas response activities
- Participating in an out-of-hours standby rota
- Identifying and addressing sub-standard or unsafe work
- Working independently while supporting the wider engineering team
Full training will be provided to build your knowledge of LPG systems, installation, maintenance and emergency response.
Gas Engineer Essential Skills
- ACS Gas qualifications
- Previous gas engineering experience
- Full manual UK driving licence
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Confident working independently in a field-based environment
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Flexible approach to travel, standby and emergency call-outs
- Ability to follow technical procedures and instructions
Previous LPG experience, particularly installing or maintaining bulk LPG tanks and cylinders, would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
Applications are welcomed from Gas Engineers coming from domestic, commercial, heating, LPG or similar field-service backgrounds who are keen to develop their specialist LPG experience.
