What will you be doing?
This is a hands-on role for a skilled BMS Engineer with proven experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting both hardware and software systems. You’ll work primarily with Trend and Tridium BMS platforms, handling a variety of tasks from preventative maintenance and issue resolution through to technical documentation and customer guidance. The role involves working with subcontractors on-site, ensuring projects remain on schedule while maintaining high quality standards. You will also act as a trusted technical point of contact for clients, providing accurate and timely solutions to complex controls and networking issues.
What will you need?
• Strong knowledge and experience with Trend and Tridium BMS systems
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues (hardware, software, controls, and networking)
• Experience configuring operating systems and remote desktop connections
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to ask targeted questions and identify root causes
• Excellent communication skills – able to guide clients through troubleshooting steps in person, by phone, or via email
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Comfortable working on-site and with subcontractors to ensure project quality and delivery
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
What would be desirable?
• Familiarity with escalation processes and liaising with software engineering teams
• Experience preparing technical manuals or process documentation
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a customer-first mindset
