We’re supporting a growing and well‑established technology organisation that builds scalable software solutions for a range of clients. With a strong focus on clean engineering, collaboration, and continuous improvement, they are expanding their development team.

THE SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing, building, and delivering high-quality software within a cross‑functional team. You’ll be involved in developing microservices, shaping APIs, and producing clear technical designs that guide delivery. The role offers a balance of hands‑on development and technical input, including contributing to engineering standards, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating closely with Product and Delivery teams in an Agile environment while supporting the growth of other developers where needed.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experience working with Azure services (e.g. Cosmos DB, AKS, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Blob Storage)
  • Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with REST API design and development
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
