A senior, strategic SEO role within a leading digital marketing agency with ownership of high-value client portfolios and commercial responsibility. The role has a strong focus on integrated SEO, AI search, content, and digital PR, offering flexible/hybrid working with an excellent benefits package and a salary of up to £45K.

Due to continued growth, we’re supporting a highly regarded digital marketing agency that delivers integrated, performance-led strategies for well-known brands. They’re now looking to add a Senior SEO Account Manager to take ownership of complex client accounts and drive long-term organic growth.

THE SENIOR SEO ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE:

As a Senior SEO Account Manager, you’ll take strategic ownership of multiple client accounts, acting as the senior point of contact and driving long-term organic performance. You’ll work across technical SEO, content, digital PR, and emerging AI search, ensuring activity is fully integrated with Paid Media, Data, and CRO teams. You’ll also mentor and line-manage SEO Executives, contribute to commercial growth, and play a key role in shaping future-facing SEO and AI strategies.

SENIOR SEO ACCOUNT MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Proven experience in a Senior SEO or SEO Account Manager role (agency-side preferred)
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and brand authority
  • Experience managing complex client portfolios and multiple roadmaps
  • Confident stakeholder management, including senior client contacts
  • Commercial awareness, including budget and resource management
  • Experience mentoring or line managing junior team members
  • Comfortable using data, analytics, and AI tools to inform strategy and delivery
