ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a major technology and consulting organisation delivering a high-profile cloud transformation programme within a secure environment. They are looking for an experienced Security Tester to strengthen security assurance across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, architecture, networks and access controls.

THE SECURITY TESTER ROLE

As Security Tester, you will develop and deliver security test strategies, plans and test cases across cloud infrastructure, network controls, security architecture, identity and access management, and role-based access controls. You will identify vulnerabilities, control weaknesses and configuration issues, then translate your findings into clear risks and practical remediation actions. Working closely with architects, engineers and security stakeholders, you will review technical designs, validate security requirements and produce evidence-based reports and recommendations. You will also contribute to security assurance and Secure by Design activities within a UK government environment.

SECURITY TESTER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Significant security testing or security assurance experience
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture and network security
  • Hands-on experience testing identity and access management, IDAM and RBAC controls
  • Ability to design, lead and deliver security testing across complex environments
  • Strong risk assessment, reporting and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and provide technical leadership
  • Current eDV clearance suitable for the assignment
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience is highly desirable
