The Software Support Engineer role
This is a customer-facing support role sitting closely with both Product and Operations. You’ll be a skilled coder in C#/.Net while also taking ownership of production support issues, working alongside developers and operational teams to diagnose, resolve, and prevent issues across live systems. You’ll also contribute to testing new releases, improving internal tooling, and supporting third-party integrations via APIs.
The role involves supporting web applications hosted in Azure, maintaining system stability, updating documentation, and assisting partner developers with integrations. There’s also scope to support internal systems such as CRM platforms and internal IT tools.
Software Support Engineer – essential skills
- Commercial experience supporting web-based applications
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET / .NET MVC, and web services
- Experience working with RESTful and SOAP APIs
- SQL experience (MS SQL / MySQL)
