Hours: 50 hours per week (10 hours per day)
Timesheet: Weekly
Engagement Type: LTD, PAYE or Umbrella
Pay Rates (Outside 50 Miles):
- LTD / Umbrella: First 37 Hours: £29.12 per hour; After 37 Hours / First 4 Hours Saturday: £30.87 per hour; After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday: £33.65 per hour
- PAYE: First 37 Hours: £21.54 per hour; After 37 Hours / First 4 Hours Saturday: £22.84 per hour; After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday: £24.90 per hour
The Role:
We are recruiting experienced Wiremen to support electrical installation activities within a substation site team environment. Reporting to the Site Supervisor or Chargehand, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality wiring and installation works in line with client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out wiring and installation tasks in line with client specifications
- Work safely and comply with all QEHS procedures following site induction
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, marking up where required
- Complete task cards within agreed timescales
- Adhere to site Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Plans
- Submit timesheets and documentation accurately and on time
Experience Required:
- Electrically qualified individual
- Minimum 1 year substation panel wiring experience, or 2+ years' experience within Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or heavy industrial construction
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Experience working to National Grid, SSE, SPEN or similar utility standards
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
