We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the fit-out phase of an exceptional £28 million private residence in Windermere. This is a high-profile luxury residential project requiring a professional with a proven track record of delivering premium fit-out and finishing packages to the highest standards. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to an exceptional quality finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all site activities throughout the fit-out phase.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist trades.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with programme requirements.
- Monitor quality standards and oversee snag-free delivery.
- Maintain site health and safety compliance at all times.
- Conduct site meetings and progress reporting.
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, designers, and client representatives.
- Manage logistics, sequencing, and workforce planning.
- Ensure all documentation and site records are maintained accurately.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-end residential, luxury fit-out, or premium residential projects.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out, finishes, MEP coordination, and commissioning processes.
- Valid SMSTS certification.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme delivery.
- Strong focus on quality, client satisfaction, and health & safety.
Desirable
- Experience delivering ultra-prime residential projects.
- Knowledge of luxury architectural finishes and bespoke interiors.
