The Role

As an Agency Registered General Nurse, you'll deliver outstanding, person-centred care across a range of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation units and community services. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, effective nursing care while maintaining the highest clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans
  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care
  • Administering medication and treatments safely and accurately
  • Monitoring patients' condition and responding appropriately to changes
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Supporting patients and their families with compassion and professionalism
  • Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve the best patient outcomes
  • Ensuring compliance with NMC standards, safeguarding procedures and infection prevention policies

What We're Looking For

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) - essential
  • A minimum of 6 months recent UK experience working as an RGN
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • A compassionate, reliable and professional approach
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends
  • The ability to travel within Wakefield and the surrounding areas using your own transport or public transport
