Mobile Vending Operator Salary: £12.60 per hour Location: Livingston / Bathgate area Hours: Mon to Fri 06:00 - 15:30 Job Type: Temp to Perm Search Recruitment is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mobile Vending Operator in the Livingston / Bathgate area. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive work ethic, strong delivery experience, and a customer-focused attitude. The position involves heavy lifting and managing vending machine stock, with a competitive pay rate and potential for overtime. Day-to-day of the role: * Travelling to client sites to collect readings, refill, and merchandise vending machines, ensuring correct stock rotation. * Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. * Carrying out physical tasks, including lifting and transporting stock from the van to machines. * Keeping vending machines clean and fully operational. * Delivering excellent customer service and resolving client queries promptly. * Planning routes efficiently to complete daily tasks effectively. Required Skills & Qualifications: * Full UK driving licence (Category B) with substantial van driving experience (max 3 penalty points). * Proven experience with van deliveries (3.5T LWB). * Previous experience in stock handling or vending machine re-stocking is desirable. * Strong communication skills for dealing with clients and team members. * Good numeracy skills for cash handling. * Reliable, with an excellent work ethic and attention to detail. * Customer-focused and able to problem-solve effectively. * Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting. * As part of the role, the successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic Disclosure check.
