Search are supporting the recruitment of a Trust Manager to join our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid & flexible working. Joining the Private Client team, you will be responsible for managing trust and charity administration to support the workload of the Private Client Team efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and update trust records.
  • Communicate with trustees and beneficiaries, providing advice and executing instructions.
  • Coordinate with professional intermediaries on client accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with trust deeds.
  • Apply knowledge of Income and Capital Gains Tax in trust administration.
  • Advise on the setup, management, and termination of trusts.
  • Manage trust finances, including disbursements and payments.
  • Handle Trust Registration and relevant reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and reporting requirements.
  • Manage Inheritance Tax and prepare necessary forms.
  • Draft Deeds, Trustee Minutes, and Resolutions.
  • Review and maintain trust and compliance records.
  • Oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes.
