We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker (male or female) to join our team for a rewarding new client placement in Adel, Leeds.
Position Details:
- Shift: 1 shift per week (must be flexible)
- Hours: 09:00am - 10:00am (the following day) - includes a sleep-in shift (approx. 25 hours total)
- Contract: 8-week agency placement with the potential to become permanent
About the Role:
You will be supporting a friendly service user who has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. The role includes providing personal care when required and assisting with daily activities to promote independence and well-being.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (you will be driving the service user's adapted vehicle)
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Must be comfortable around dogs (the service user owns a dog)
- Ability to work with empathy, professionalism, and flexibility
- Preferably a similar age to service user (between 30 and 40)
Location: Adel, Leeds
Please note: You will be required to meet the service user prior to starting the role to ensure a good match.
