Key Responsibilities * Manage the end to end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for more than 850 employees * Lead, support and develop the Payroll team * Oversee CIS payroll for subcontractors, ensuring accurate verification, deductions and HMRC submissions * Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and CIS regulations * Manage statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP * Maintain and improve payroll systems, working closely with software providers to resolve issues and implement enhancements * Drive continuous improvement by streamlining payroll processes and improving efficiency * Work closely with the Finance team on payroll reconciliations, reporting, cost analysis and audit requirements * Produce accurate payroll reports and provide payroll advice to stakeholders across the business About You * Previous experience managing high volume, multi frequency payrolls * Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC regulations and the CIS scheme * CIPP qualified or working towards a qualification * Experience leading or supervising a payroll team * Strong Excel skills and experience using payroll software and integrated HR and finance systems * Organised, accurate and confident working to deadlines 📩 Interested?
