We are currently recruiting for 6 Skilled Operatives to support the delivery of a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Monk Fryston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading energy infrastructure contractor working on a high-profile renewable energy development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Civil works associated with BESS and electrical infrastructure construction
- Installation of ducts and cable routes
- Cable pulling and cable management activities
- Assisting with trenching, reinstatement and general groundwork duties
- Supporting site teams with construction and installation activities
- General site duties as required by the project team
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
Essential Requirements:
- Valid CSCS or CPCS Card
- Previous experience working within BESS, substation, electrical infrastructure or major civil engineering projects
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a construction team environment
Desirable Qualifications:
- SHEA Power
- First Aid at Work
- SSSTS
- National Grid Person
- Previous utility, substation or energy sector experience
