Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Uncapped Bonus (OTE £55,000 - £65,000)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Skelmersdale for a Sales Manager to lead a small internal sales team of four. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales leader who enjoys coaching others whilst remaining actively involved in generating revenue through a combination of warm leads and business development activity.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing an internal sales team, ensuring targets are achieved and customer relationships are maintained to the highest standard. Alongside your management responsibilities, you will have your own sales target and will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and mentoring a team of four internal sales executives.
  • Coaching team members to improve performance, sales techniques and customer engagement.
  • Managing sales activity, KPIs and overall team performance.
  • Generating new business through a mixture of warm inbound leads and proactive business development.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow revenue and expand existing accounts.
  • Working closely with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Producing sales forecasts and performance reports.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Sales Manager, Team Leader or Senior Sales position.
  • A successful track record of selling services rather than physical products.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach.
  • The ability to lead by example and inspire others to succeed.
