We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager or Project Manager to support the delivery of a 33kV substation project, including associated cable laying, trenching, and civil infrastructure works. We are open to both permanent and contract candidates and welcome applications from individuals with strong utilities, power, or infrastructure backgrounds.

The role will involve overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate site activities relating to 33kV substation works
  • Oversee cable installation, trenching, ducting, and associated civils packages
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with company and client procedures
  • Manage subcontractors, site teams, plant, and material deliveries
  • Monitor project progress, programme, and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders throughout project delivery
  • Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
  • Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and commercial requirements where applicable
  • Identify and manage project risks and site issues proactively
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager role
  • MUST HAVE NG PERSONS
  • Solid understanding and experience with NEC contracts
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost control capability
Package & Benefits
  • Salary: ~£70,000 (depending on experience)
  • Contract £550 - £650 a day Ltd
  • Car allowance or company car (If permanent)
  • 27 days holiday + bank holidays
