An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially driven National Business Development Manager to join a market-leading business operating within the Hire and Renewables sector.
With significant investment and continued expansion across the UK, our client is looking for a motivated sales professional to identify new business opportunities, build long-term partnerships and drive sustainable growth across the renewable energy and utilities market.

The Role
As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities across the UK, working with contractors, utilities, infrastructure businesses, renewable energy providers and major commercial organisations.
You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and generating leads through to negotiating contracts and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across the UK within the Hire and Renewables sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, utilities, renewable energy providers and commercial clients.
- Identify new markets and opportunities for business growth.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations and site visits.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial tenders.
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value sales opportunities.
- Manage your sales pipeline using the CRM system.
- Work closely with internal operations and technical teams to ensure exceptional customer delivery.
- Represent the business at industry exhibitions, networking events and trade shows.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Business Development professional with a proven track record of winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships.
