Role: Senior Residential Property Paralegal
Location: Sheffield City Centre
Full - Time, Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Prepare and review legal documentation, contracts, reports, forms, and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with progressing matters, including exchanges, completions, post-completion activities, and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct property searches, review results, raise enquiries, and identify potential risks or issues for escalation.
- Liaise professionally with clients, agents, lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders, providing updates and maintaining excellent client service.
- Complete compliance and due diligence checks, including source of funds reviews and lender requirements.
- Manage a varied workload independently, prioritising tasks and supporting the wider team as required.
- Handle straightforward matters independently and assist with more complex transactions under limited supervision.
- Maintain compliance with internal procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, training, and the effective operation of the team.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a residential conveyancing or similar legal support role.
- Good understanding of the conveyancing process and property transaction lifecycle.
- Experience drafting legal documents, reports, and transaction-related paperwork.
- Strong client service and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with case management systems is advantageous.
