Operate and optimise corrugator machinery to produce high-quality corrugated board in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll set up, run, and maintain the line while keeping a close eye on quality, output, and safety. This role exists to support consistent, efficient production of corrugated cardboard sheets.

Role details: This is a production / manufacturing role working on corrugating machinery within a shift-based environment.
Salary: £30-45k DO
Shift pattern: Days, afternoons & nights 42.5 hours per week
The role: As a Machine Operator - Corrugator, you'll take ownership for running corrugating machinery to defined specifications. The role focuses on keeping production flowing smoothly while meeting quality and safety standards. You'll work closely with colleagues across production to ensure materials, machinery, and finished product all meet required standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting up and operating corrugator machinery to produce corrugated board to specification.
- Monitoring machine performance and adjusting temperature, pressure, and speed to maintain quality.
- Inspecting product quality, including flute structure, bonding, and moisture levels.
- Identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues, carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
- Ensuring raw materials such as paper reels, starch, and adhesives are loaded, used efficiently, and recorded accurately.
- Following health and safety procedures, using PPE, and maintaining a clean, organised work area.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
