About the Role

Search are supporting to recruit for a growing business and are seeking a detail-focused Sales Ledger Clerk to their finance team in Castleford on a temporary contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in sales ledger or accounts receivable who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities


* Raise and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
* Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts
* Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies
* Chase outstanding payments and manage aged debt
* Respond to customer queries in a professional and timely manner
* Maintain accurate records and support month-end processes
What We're Looking For


* Previous experience in a sales ledger, accounts receivable or a similar role
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident using Sage or a similar accounting software and Excel (admirable)
* Strong communication skills - written and verbal
* Organised and able to meet deadlines

Salary: Paid hourly equivalent to up to Β£27,000 depending on experience.
