We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Operative / Roto Operator for a long-term contract on a National Grid substation project in Melksham. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified operative with previous substation experience and the correct National Grid authorisations already in place.
Essential Requirements:
- Roto Operator Ticket (360 Degree Slew) - Essential
- National Grid Person - Essential
- Manual Handling Certificate - Essential
- Previous experience working on National Grid / live substation projects
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures and working in high-voltage environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Operating a 360 Degree Slew Roto safely and efficiently on site
- Supporting ongoing M&E and infrastructure works within the substation environment
- Assisting with material movement, lifting operations, and plant support duties as required
- Working in line with RAMS, health & safety procedures, and site compliance standards
- Supporting site teams to ensure works are delivered safely and to programme
