Pothole Repair Operative
Location: Greater Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm
Rate: Negotiable
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Pothole Repair Operative to join our team for ongoing road maintenance and repair work.
This role involves carrying out essential pothole and surface defect repairs on highways and local roads, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out pothole and patching repairs using hot and cold tarmac materials
Operate small plant and machinery (e.g. roller, wacker plate, saws)
Work as part of a small team to complete repair works efficiently
Ensure correct traffic management is in place (e.g. cones, barriers)
Follow all health & safety protocols and site procedures
Complete job sheets and documentation accurately
Requirements:
Previous experience in highways maintenance or pothole repair
Knowledge of using hand tools and small plant
CSCS card
Driving licence (essential - company vehicle may be provided)
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Willingness to work overtime or weekends if required
