Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm

Holiday: 26.5 days annual leave (pro rata)

Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced TIG / MIG Welders to join our manufacturing team. We are looking for motivated individuals who can work to a high standard in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

About the Role

You will be involved in a variety of stainless steel fabrication and welding projects, including sheet metal work, light fabrications, and pipework. Every project is different, so the ability to read drawings, problem-solve, and adapt is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
  • Fabricate stainless steel components, pipework, and sheet metal assemblies
  • Read and work from detailed engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Measure accurately and work within tolerances
  • Use hand and air tools safely and effectively
  • Complete fabrication jobs from start to finish
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Support the production team with additional workshop tasks when required
  • Work on bespoke and custom-built projects, sometimes using sketches or limited drawings

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in TIG and MIG welding
  • Minimum 1 year fabrication experience preferred but not essential
  • Welding test required before starting
  • Stainless steel welding experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
