Search Consultancy have fantastic opportunities for Bricklayers to work with some of our valued clients in Peterhead and surrounding areas. These are temporary roles, however we have ongoing work for interested candidates and can offer great benefits such as various payment types and a referral scheme.

Duties to include:

  • Lay bricks, blocks, and stone according to construction plans and specifications
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans accurately
  • Mix and apply mortar or other bonding materials
  • Measure and cut materials to required sizes using hand and power tools
  • Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
  • Ensure structures are level, aligned, and structurally sound
  • Install damp-proofing and insulation materials when required
  • Work with concrete, foundations, and paving materials
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
  • Follow health and safety regulations on-site at all times
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and site managers
  • Repair and maintain existing brickwork and masonry structures

Requirements:

  • CSCS Card required
  • Good attention to detail
  • Full PPE

Location and hours:

Peterhead Monday - Friday 07:30-17:00 Weekends

Payment: £22 - £25 per hour CIS, PAYE and UMBRELLA Weekly payment
