Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Business Improvement Administration Assistant to join their Business Improvement team on a temporary six-month contract with the likelihood for extension beyond this.
Rate: £15.70 per hour
Hours: 35 per week
Key Duties:
- Run and distribute daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Process Subject Access Requests in accordance with data protection requirements.
- Maintain and update records, trackers and filing systems.
- Log, file and process complaints, appeals and investigation-related documentation.
- Collate and prepare information for management reporting.
- Ensure all records are managed and retained in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Support the Business Improvement Manager with additional administrative tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting and Performance Information: Produce critical business data reports using reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications. Record and maintain accurate data within trackers and databases. Distribute reports to relevant managers, departments and stakeholders in a timely manner. Assist in monitoring performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Information Governance: Process Subject Access Requests, gathering and collating relevant information. Ensure requests are completed within required timescales. Redact information appropriately and in accordance with Data Protection legislation and organisational procedures.
- Records and Case Management: Record, file and maintain complaints, appeals and other case-related documentation. Ensure records are processed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Support the analysis of trends and reporting requirements through accurate record keeping.
- Records Retention and Compliance: Maintain effective filing systems, both electronic and paper-based. Ensure records are managed in line with document retention policies and data protection obligations. Support compliance with relevant information management requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous administrative experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience of data reporting, records management or information governance processes would be advantageous.
