Search are currently working with a business based in Pontefract who are looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their team reporting into the HR Manager running the end to end process for the business!

Job Duties

  • Overseeing payroll for 800 members of staff end to end both weekly and monthly
  • Deductions for attachment of earnings, SSP, childcare vouchers
  • Production of management reports for the accounts team
  • Dealing with payroll queries
  • Processing statutory payments
  • Administration of all pension schemes
  • Create and develop operating processes for payroll
  • Ensure legislation is upheld and adhered to
  • Onboard and offboard staff members

Ideal candidate will possess

  • Previous experience within payroll
  • Microsoft proficient
  • Knowledge of UK payroll legislation
  • Meet timed deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills

Working hours

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
