Search are currently working with a business based in Pontefract who are looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their team reporting into the HR Manager running the end to end process for the business!
Job Duties
- Overseeing payroll for 800 members of staff end to end both weekly and monthly
- Deductions for attachment of earnings, SSP, childcare vouchers
- Production of management reports for the accounts team
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Processing statutory payments
- Administration of all pension schemes
- Create and develop operating processes for payroll
- Ensure legislation is upheld and adhered to
- Onboard and offboard staff members
Ideal candidate will possess
- Previous experience within payroll
- Microsoft proficient
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- Meet timed deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
Working hours
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
