Based in Nottingham City Centre, this is a part-time role with an ASAP start, likely on Monday 3rd August. The position requires working Tuesday to Thursday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, totalling 24 hours per week. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 6 months, with a strong potential to be made permanent. The pay rate is £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay.

Search Consultancy is currently working with one of our Nationwide clients who are looking to bring in an experienced Receptionist for their Head Office based in Nottingham. You must be comfortable with the working pattern on a long-term basis to be considered for the role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional, welcoming and secure front of house experience for colleagues, visitors and contractors, supporting with visitor management, access control, delivery coordination and basic administration duties.

Duties involved in this role will include:

  • Welcoming visitors and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner on the front desk
  • Managing the signing in process for all visitors, ensuring a smooth arrival experience
  • Issuing, tracking and collecting of all visitor passes in line with security procedures
  • Maintaining an organised, tidy and professional front desk environment at all times
  • Dealing with any temporary passes, lost passes and access related queries
  • Maintaining accurate visitor logs and front of house records
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring items are logged, received securely and distributed appropriately
  • Replenishment of front of house materials, visitor passes and workplace supplies
  • Support with general administrative tasks where required

In order to be considered for this role, your skills and experience should include:

  • Previous experience in a Reception / Front of House role providing first class visitor service - this experience is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Solid administration experience as this role will involve a number of administrative duties
