Search are supporting the recruitment of a Credit Controller to join a fast paced and supportive finance team in Edinburgh. This role offers full ownership of your own ledger, giving you real responsibility and the opportunity to make a direct impact on cash collection and business performance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own portfolio of accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances
  • Building strong relationships with customers to resolve queries and agree payment plans
  • Proactively chasing overdue debt and maintaining accurate account records
  • Allocating payments and resolving unallocated balances efficiently
  • Supporting credit checks and ongoing account management
  • Working closely with internal teams to resolve billing or account queries
  • Contributing to debt recovery processes where required
  • Supporting wider finance tasks including cash handling and general administration
