Search Consultancy is looking for experienced and reliable Joiners to join our busy construction teams on a key project in Middlesbrough. We are partnering with leading main contractors and regional house builders who require high-quality craftsmanship and efficient site progress. If you are a specialist who thrives in a productivity-driven environment and can deliver a "snag-free" finish, we have immediate starts and long-term work available now.

The Role

  • First Fix: Joists, roof trusses, stud partitions, and door frames.
  • Second Fix: Internal doors, skirting, architrave, and staircase components.
  • Final Fix: Ironmongery, kitchen fitting, and high-end finishing.
  • Structural Joinery: Roof pitching and timber frame assembly where required.
  • Productivity Driven: We need Joiners used to the pace of large-scale residential plots or fast-track commercial fit-outs.

Requirements

  • NVQ Qualification: Must hold a UK NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Wood Occupations (Site Carpentry).
  • CSCS Card: A valid Blue (Skilled Worker) or Gold (Advanced Craft) card is mandatory.
  • Experience: Proven track record in site-based joinery or new-build housing.
  • Tools & PPE: Full professional 110v or cordless tool kit and standard 5-point PPE.
  • Reliability: Must have a high standard of workmanship and the ability to get to the site in Middlesbrough daily.
  • Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
