The Role
As a Warehouse Operator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse, ensuring stock is received, stored, replenished and dispatched accurately to keep the operation running efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Reach Truck to replenish pick faces and shelving from bulk storage, ensuring products are readily available for the picking team.
- Assisting with the accurate assembly and picking of customer orders, ensuring products are selected, checked and prepared for dispatch to meet quality and productivity targets.
- Organising, storing and replenishing stock within the warehouse, ensuring goods are correctly located, rotated where required and readily accessible to support efficient warehouse operations.
- Using handheld RF scanners to accurately record stock movements, complete replenishment tasks and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Safely operating warehouse equipment, including pump trucks, powered pallet trucks (PPT), LLOPs and forklifts, in accordance with company procedures and health and safety standards.
- Supporting the inbound team by receiving deliveries, checking goods for accuracy and safely storing stock in the appropriate warehouse locations.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the warehouse to maintain workflow, achieve daily operational targets and ensure a clean, safe and organised working environment at all times.
About You

To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience, or transferable skills from a similar operational environment
- A Reach Truck Licence is desirable but not essential
- A reliable work history and strong work ethic
- A positive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Good levels of physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop within the business
