About the Role

As a Paralegal, you will work closely with solicitors and fee earners to support the progression of cases, manage documentation, and ensure clients receive a high standard of service. You will gain exposure to a wide range of legal work and play a key role in the smooth running of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Assisting with the management and progression of client files, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
  • Legal Research: Conducting research, preparing summaries, and supporting fee earners with case preparation.
  • Document Drafting: Drafting legal documents, correspondence, forms, and statements with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Client Communication: Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties professionally and efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Managing post, scanning, filing, and maintaining organised digital and physical case files.
  • Evidence & Disclosure: Assisting with the preparation, review, and organisation of evidence bundles and disclosure documents.
  • Billing & Time Recording: Supporting fee earners with billing processes and accurate time recording.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Paralegal or strong administrative background within a legal or professional environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
