£13.81 per hour | 39 hours per week | 5 days from 7 | Shifts: 9-5 or 10-6

Initial 2-3 month assignment with high potential to run until Christmas 2026. We're recruiting 18 Courier Trainers across multiple London and South‐East locations to support one of the UK's leading delivery networks. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy fast‐paced operational work, supporting people, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Whether you come from customer service, retail, logistics, hospitality, or any role where you've coached, supported or guided others - this could be a perfect fit. Full training is provided, and you'll be joining a friendly, hands‐on team where no two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the onboarding and training of new couriers
  • Assist with allocating daily work and monitoring courier readiness
  • Check parcel scanning activity and ensure compliance throughout the day
  • Make sure parcels are prepared correctly for collection and dispatch
  • Identify operational risks and escalate through the Service Tracker
  • Help plan for resource gaps and communicate potential issues
  • Resolve day‐to‐day challenges such as late couriers, missing parcels or scanning delays
  • Provide guidance on manifests, routing and delivery exceptions
  • Keep Territory Managers updated with clear operational feedback
  • Build positive working relationships with couriers and service providers

What We're Looking For

  • You don't need logistics experience - just the right attitude and transferable skills.
  • Background in customer service, retail, logistics or operations
  • Confident using laptops, smartphones and mobile apps
  • Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent communication and coaching ability
  • Organised, calm and able to work in a fast‐paced environment
  • Good problem‐solving skills with confidence to make decisions
  • Flexible to work any 5 days from 7
