Salary: £35,000 – £44,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits + bonus.

The Company: A well-established and growing inbound travel and destination management company specialising in bespoke tours and travel experiences across the UK.

Main Duties:

  • You will be responsible for managing key client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and promoting UK travel products, with a focus on Scotland and London as leading destinations.

The Role:

  • Manage and develop strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
  • Create, tailor, and quote bespoke and complicated travel programmes.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the travel trade.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality itineraries.
  • Use TourPlan CRM to manage bookings, pipelines, and client interactions.
  • Maintain strong destination knowledge, particularly across Scotland and/or London.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a Destination Management Company, tour operator, or similar travel environment.
  • Fluent in German.
  • Background in hotel reservations, travel sales, or itinerary building.
  • Tourism-related degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Edinburgh and/or London as key travel destinations.
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Experience using TourPlan or similar CRM systems is advantageous.
  • IT literate.

Bilingual Travel Operations Executive

Location: Edinburgh or London (Hybrid working with 2 days from home).

Salary: £27,000 – £37,000 per annum DOE.

The Company: A well-established international destination management company specialising in bespoke travel experiences across the UK.

Main Duties:

  • Coordinating and managing travel bookings from confirmation through to delivery, ensuring smooth and successful trips for clients.

The Role:

  • Manage end-to-end bookings for group and individual travel programmes.
  • Coordinate accommodation, transport, and additional services.
  • Use TourPlan CRM to manage reservations, supplier bookings, and documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers to secure services at competitive rates.
  • Ensure all elements of trips are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Handle amendments, issues, and operational queries efficiently.
  • Work closely with sales and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date product and destination knowledge.
  • Support the smooth running of operations and client satisfaction.

The Candidate:

  • Fluency in German.
  • Previous experience within a tour operator, travel operations role, hotel reservations, or student halls.
  • Will consider graduates with a Tourism-related degree or relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in bookings, reservations, or travel coordination.
  • Familiarity with TourPlan or similar CRM system is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good knowledge of UK destinations, particularly Scotland or London, is desirable.
  • IT literate.
