Our Engineering & Manufacturing division is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth across the North West and Yorkshire markets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team where you'll focus on developing new client partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and identifying recruitment solutions for businesses across the engineering and manufacturing sectors.

You'll be supported and mentored by an experienced leadership team with extensive experience in recruitment and sales, providing you with the tools, support, and development needed to build a successful career. The role will involve developing new business through B2B sales calls, LinkedIn networking, client meetings, and referrals, while managing existing accounts and building long-term relationships with clients. Working closely with our 360 Recruitment Consultants, you'll identify opportunities, understand client hiring needs and deliver tailored workforce solutions.

Who are we looking for?

  • A proven passion for business development and sales
  • Experience in recruitment, particularly in business development or account management, is desirable.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
  • Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competitive, driven and ambitious, with a genuine desire to succeed
  • A full UK driver's licence with access to your own vehicle

What will you be doing?

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the Engineering and Manufacturing sector
  • Contacting prospective and existing clients
  • Attending client meetings to understand hiring requirements and present recruitment solutions
  • Negotiating commercial teams, fees and service agreements to maximise profitability
  • Working alongside recruitment consultants to ensure the successful delivery of client requirements
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and industry developments to position yourself as a trusted recruitment partner.
