Search are currently supporting a large law firm in the centre of Leeds who is looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join their growing finance team! The role would be suited to someone who has a year's experience and is wanting more exposure.

Job Duties:

  • Assisting with the process of financial transactions
  • Ensuring the office, client and nominal account ledgers are up to date
  • Checking and data entry of bills
  • Taking both internal and external calls, including taking card payments
  • Daily banking
  • Raising cheques in accordance with fee earners or support staff instructions
  • Maintenance of the firm's petty cash system and processing of expenses
  • Ensuring that transactions and processes comply with the SRA Accounts Rules, HMRC regulations and other relevant legislation and guidance

What's required:

  • Worked in a similar role before
  • Competent with Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work to timed deadlines
  • Analytic
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

What's on offer:

  • Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 17:30
  • Enrolment into profit share scheme as it is an employee owned business
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank rising with service up to 31
  • Annual bonus payment based on company performance
  • Pension
  • Fully on site
