About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join a growing financial services organisation based in Leeds/Wetherby. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence, improving processes, and leading high-performing teams.

As Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Manage daily operational processes to ensure service standards and KPIs are consistently achieved.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Monitor operational performance, producing management information and reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, internal policies, and risk management procedures.
  • Collaborate with departments including Compliance, Finance, Customer Services, and IT to deliver business objectives.
  • Manage operational risks, escalating issues where appropriate and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support business change initiatives, including system implementations and process transformation projects.
  • Oversee resource planning and workforce management to meet business demands.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.

About You:

  • Previous experience in an Operations Manager or Senior Operations role within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of working within a regulated environment (FCA experience desirable).
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience improving operational processes and delivering change.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using operational reporting tools.
