You will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive marketing strategy, working closely with senior leadership, operational teams and education professionals to increase brand awareness, engagement and enquiries. This is an opportunity for someone who wants genuine ownership and influence, rather than simply managing day-to-day marketing activity.
The Role:
- Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy aligned to organisational growth objectives.
- Lead and manage the marketing function, setting clear objectives and performance measures.
- Strengthen brand positioning across the education services portfolio.
- Develop campaigns that increase awareness, enquiries, referrals and engagement.
- Manage digital marketing activity across website, SEO, PPC, email and social media.
- Develop and manage content strategies across multiple channels.
- Oversee website development, optimisation and ongoing content.
- Use analytics, market insight and campaign data to measure ROI and improve performance.
- Work closely with Business Development and Operations to support lead generation and growth.
- Develop marketing materials and communications for parents, professionals, commissioners and key stakeholders.
- Identify emerging market trends and opportunities across the education and SEND landscape.
- Manage external agencies, suppliers and marketing partners where required.
- Own the marketing budget and ensure activity delivers measurable commercial value.
- Develop internal communications and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing activity reflects the organisation's values, reputation and regulatory requirements.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial execution. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience operating at Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager level.
- Experience developing and implementing a multi-channel marketing strategy.
- Strong digital marketing experience across SEO, PPC, social media, email and websites.
- A track record of delivering measurable growth through marketing activity.
- Strong brand and content development experience.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies and marketing suppliers.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and demonstrate ROI.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience leading, mentoring or developing a marketing team.
- A commercial mindset and the ability to link marketing activity to organisational growth.
Experience within education, SEND, children's services, healthcare, care or another regulated services environment would be advantageous, although strong transferable marketing experience will be considered.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who can own the marketing function and make an impact. You won't simply be managing campaigns, you'll be responsible for shaping how the organisation is positioned in the market, increasing visibility, supporting growth and developing a consistent and engaging brand. If you're a commercially minded marketing leader who enjoys working in a growing organisation and wants the opportunity to make a genuine difference, we'd like to hear from you.
