Search Consultancy is expanding its Healthcare team in the Leeds area and we're looking for experienced Care Home Chefs to join us. The Role

You'll be preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals for residents within residential care homes and nursing homes, ensuring all meals meet individual dietary requirements, nutritional standards and food safety regulations. You'll play an important role in supporting resident's health and well being by delivering high-quality meals while maintaining a safe, clean and compliant kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for residents
  • Catering for special dietary requirements, allergens and texture-modified diets
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • Following HACCP procedures and food safety regulations
  • Managing food stock, deliveries and stock rotation
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
  • Working independently or alongside kitchen teams as required
  • Providing a high-quality dining experience for residents

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 6 months recent UK chef experience, ideally within a care home, nursing home, healthcare or similar environment
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
  • Knowledge of allergen management and special dietary requirements
  • A professional, reliable and organised approach
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
  • The ability to travel within Bradford and the surrounding areas using your own transport or public transport
