Search are supporting the recruitment of a Bookkeeper to join our client’s growing team in Dunfermline. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, expanding company that values its people and offers excellent development opportunities.
Within the role, you’ll deliver high‑quality bookkeeping services, handle processing of invoices, VAT returns, reconciliations, and month‑end journals, while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Processing invoices, expenses and financial transactions
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly VAT returns
- Bank and control account reconciliations
- Wages and other month‑end journals
- Respond promptly to queries by phone and email
- Maintain filing and document management systems
- Proven ability to deliver tasks to deadlines and within budget
- Previous experience in high‑volume data processing
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accountancy software
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organised, methodical approach and professional attitude
- Salary range of circa 29k - 34k, depending on experience
