Job Description: As a Joiner/Carpenter working through Search, you will have the chance to collaborate with some of the most reputable construction firms in the industry. Your responsibilities will include: – Interpreting and executing detailed plans and specifications for a variety of construction projects. – Constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture. – Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials with precision using hand and power tools. – Installing doors, windows, cabinets, and other interior elements to the highest standards. – Working closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks. – Adhering to health and safety regulations on site to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements: – Proven experience as a Joiner/Carpenter in a construction environment. – NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry and Joinery preferred. – Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations. – Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. – Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. – Strong communication and teamwork skills. – Valid driving license and own tools are desirable.
