Search Consultancy have fantastic opportunities for Steel Fixers to work with some of our valued clients in Inverness and surrounding areas. These are temporary roles, however we have ongoing work for interested candidates and can offer great benefits such as various payment types and a referral scheme.
Duties to include:
- Cutting, shaping, and bending steel bars and mesh to required specifications
- Positioning and securing steel reinforcement using wire, clips, spacers, and supports
- Installing rebar for foundations, walls, columns, beams, slabs, and other structural elements
- Using hand tools and power tools such as rebar cutters, benders, and tying guns
- Ensuring correct spacing, alignment, and placement of reinforcement before concrete pour
- Fixing prefabricated reinforcement cages and mats
Requirements:
- CSCS
- Full PPE
Location and hours: Inverness Monday - Friday 07:30-17:00
Payment: £22 - £27 per hour PAYE/UMBRELLA/CIS Weekly payment
