Senior Planner in Highlands, Inverness

Senior Planner Glasgow / Inverness £(phone number removed) Car Benefits Join an established, reputable Civil Engineering Contractor where you will play a key role in delivering energy transmission projects in North Scotland. This role requires a \’hands on\’ individual who likes to be heavily involved in a project from day 1. You will lead the develop detailed programmes in P6 as well as support and mentor the wider planning team as well as review drawings and produce material take-offs to calculate activity duration. This role will involve travel to Inverness at times, living away and subsistence are paid if travelling. What\’s on offer: * Salary of between £65,000-£80,000 DOE * Company Car or Car Allowance * Annual Bonus * Generous holiday allowance * Private healthcare What you\’ll need: * A qualification in Civil Engineering/Construction to HND level or equivalent. * Experience of working in an operational role as a Section Engineer/Sub-Agent preferable. * Experience of working for a main contractor in a planning role essential. * Experience of working in the energy sector preferred. * Experience of working with P6 and MS Project. * Experience of using time chainage software is desirable but not essential. * A good understanding of NEC contracts.
