We are thrilled to be exclusively working with our client, a globally recognised manufacturing brand, to bring onboard a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Internal Sales Team.

In your new role you will be responsible for managing inbound customer enquiries, qualifying leads, and delivering accurate and timely quotations to support revenue growth. Working closely with customers, external sales teams, and production colleagues, you will translate technical requirements into commercially viable solutions, ensuring quotes are correctly costed and aligned with manufacturing capabilities. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting order processing, and driving follow-up activities to convert opportunities into business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical mindset and strong communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering environment and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality service and results.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a similar internal sales, supply chain, or procurement role (ideally 3+ years)
  • A solid technical understanding of engineering or manufacturing processes
  • Confident interpreting customer requirements and turning them into accurate quotations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple enquiries, quotes, and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment
  • Has good numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail in pricing and costing
  • Comfortable using IT systems/ERP tools and standard business software
  • Has knowledge of (or willingness to learn) ISO standards and regulated manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrates a proactive, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working with advanced engineering materials (e.g. plastics)
  • Background in sales, production, or purchasing within an engineering environment
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Apprenticeship or qualifications in engineering, maths, business, or a related discipline
