Search² is recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist construction contractor delivering complex projects across London. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team in a developmental role.
Working closely with an experienced Head of Health & Safety, you'll gain hands-on exposure to a variety of live construction projects while receiving ongoing mentoring, training and support to help you develop into a well-rounded Health & Safety professional.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting the delivery of Health & Safety across multiple live construction projects
- Carrying out site inspections and audits
- Assisting with accident and incident investigations
- Supporting the review of risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Building positive relationships with site teams and promoting a proactive safety culture
- Working alongside an experienced Health & Safety leader, gaining practical coaching and development
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of Health & Safety standards across the business
What you will need:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or currently working towards it)
- Previous construction site experience
- CSCS Card, or willingness to obtain one
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop
- A proactive approach and willingness to spend time on site
