Search Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside our client in Balloch to find their next Head Chef.
This is an unbelievable opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to step away from the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant environment and find a true work life balance. A salary range of £32,296-£35,880, with a 35-hour working week and 42 days holiday and separate time off over Christmas (Where do you ever see that in hospitality!?)
Our client is a small 12-bedroom hotel and private events venue located 40mins from Glasgow so a car and driving license is required. You'll cater for between 20-50 guests per day, made up of hotel guests and private members. The venue also hosts one wedding per week, usually on a Saturday throughout their peak season (April-October).
Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to –
* Running of the kitchen including training and development of junior chefs
* Health and Hygiene adhered to at all times
* Menu planning and costings of seasonal changing menus
* Developing a strong working relationship with the team both FOH and BOH
To be considered for this role you must have the following –
* Previous experience working in a similar role or strong sous chef looking to step up for the first time.
* Comfortable leading and managing a team, including training and development of staff
* Experience in creating and implementing menus as well as full costing and keeping in line with GP.
* A full driving license with access to a car.
